Stainless Steel Plain Weave Mesh, often considered the most fundamental and widely utilized woven wire cloth type, is characterized by its simple yet effective crisscross pattern. In this weave, each warp wire (longitudinal) passes alternately over and then under each weft wire (transverse), and vice versa. This symmetrical over-under pattern creates a regular grid of identical square openings. The mesh count, wire diameter, and open area are directly interrelated; increasing the wire diameter for a given mesh count reduces the open area percentage and vice versa.
