Weave Construction and Characteristics

• Wire Selection: We employ 316L stainless steel as standard for chemical resistance; 304 stainless steel is available for general-purpose applications.

• Crimping Method: Each intersection receives a double crimp—one in the warp direction and one in the weft—ensuring wires remain locked under high flow velocities or pulsating conditions.

• Slot Geometry: Rectangular openings, whose long axis aligns with the warp wires, provide high open-area (up to 40%), low pressure drop, and consistent particle retention. Standard slot dimensions range from 5 µm × 50 µm up to 200 µm × 2000 µm, accommodating solids removal and fluid clarification.
