Anping CREMOTIVE Wire Mesh Products CO., LTD offers Plain Dutch Weave Mesh, designed to provide dependable filtration and screening across a wide range of industrial settings. In the Plain Dutch weave pattern, each fine-diameter warp wire alternates over and under each heavier-diameter weft wire, creating a stable, closely interlocked mesh structure. This construction yields uniformly rectangular openings, with dimensional tolerances that ensure consistent particle retention and fluid flow characteristics.
Materials and Manufacture
Our Plain Dutch Weave Mesh is produced in 304 and 316L stainless steel grades. Initial stainless coil is precision drawn through multiple dies to achieve tight wire-diameter tolerances (±5 µm). Warps and wefts are then crimped—once in each direction—prior to weaving on specially configured looms. After weaving, mesh panels undergo annealing to relieve work hardening, followed by chemical pickling and passivation (per ASTM A967) to restore a protective oxide layer and remove surface contaminants.
Key Features
Uniform Apertures: Openings can range from 10 µm × 100 µm up to 500 µm × 500 µm, held within ±10 % tolerance for reliable cut-point performance.
Open-Area Ratio: Typical open-area spans 20 – 45 %, balancing throughput with retention efficiency.
Mechanical Stability: Heavier weft wires reinforce finer warp wires, allowing mesh to span housing diameters up to 2 m without intermediate supports.
Chemical and Thermal Resistance: 316L alloy resists chloride-induced pitting and operates continuously at temperatures up to 275 °C.
Applications
Membrane Prefiltration: Removing suspended solids before ultrafiltration or reverse-osmosis modules.
Catalyst Recovery: Depth filtration in chemical reactors, capturing sub-100-µm catalyst fines.
Food and Beverage: Clarification of juice, wine, and edible oils; mesh resists frequent cleaning cycles in caustic or acidic solutions.
Gas Separation: Dust and particulate screening in air-cooling towers, HVAC intakes, and flue-gas scrubbers.
Customization and Quality Control
Anping CREMOTIVE supplies panels, rolls, or cylindrical modules in custom widths (up to 2 m) and lengths (up to 50 m). Edging options include folded hems, welded frames, or perimeter reinforcement wires. Each production lot is accompanied by:
Mill certificates verifying alloy composition.
Optical aperture measurements confirming slot dimensions and open-area.
Tension-testing reports ensuring weave integrity.
By combining proven Plain Dutch weave geometry with rigorous manufacturing controls, Anping CREMOTIVE delivers mesh solutions that uphold process reliability and simplify maintenance.
