Anping CREMOTIVE Wire Mesh Products CO., LTD’s Reverse Plain Dutch Weave Wire Mesh delivers enhanced throughput for coarser separation tasks while retaining the stability of the plain Dutch pattern. In this reversed configuration, heavier wires run in the warp direction and finer wires in the weft direction, creating square-or-rectangular openings that favor high flow rates with predictable retention.
Weave Details
Warp (Heavy) Wires: Diameters from 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm provide structural backbone; spaced at counts from 5 to 40 per inch.
Weft (Fine) Wires: Diameters from 0.05 mm to 0.3 mm define the slot width; typically 50 to 300 wires per inch.
Double Crimped: Each intersection is crimped once in each wire direction, locking the weave and preventing wire migration under dynamic loads.
Material and Finishing
Available in 304 for general screening and 316L for corrosive or high-chloride environments. Post-weave annealing relieves residual stresses; chemical passivation restores full corrosion protection. Electropolishing is available to achieve Ra ≤ 0.8 µm, aiding hygiene and reducing microbial adhesion in food or biotech uses.
Operational Benefits
High Open-Area (up to 50 %): Large warp spacing combined with fine weft wires maintains separation of coarse particles while maximizing flow.
Structural Rigidity: Heavy warp wires allow large unsupported spans in filter panels—or enable flat sheets to be formed into cylindrical cartridges without support cores.
Abrasion Resistance: Heavy wires withstand wear from abrasive slurries, suitable for mining and mineral processing.
Applications
Aggregate Screening: Rapid classification of sand, gravel, and crushed stone in quarries.
Slurry Separation: Dewatering of ore slurries prior to downstream processing.
Water Intake Protection: Removal of large debris—leaves, twigs—from cooling-tower and municipal water intakes.
Chemical Process Safeguarding: Bulk particle removal upstream of fine-filter or membrane trains.
Customization Options
Panel sizes to 3 m × 1.5 m; cut-to-size rectangles and perforated frames available. Edges can be hemmed or spot-welded to prevent fraying. Each mesh lot is certified for wire diameter, open-area ratio, and weld integrity (if welded frames are applied).
